The Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City has several monuments and memorials dedicated to Missouri veterans. Located in the rotunda of the state capitol are bronze markers that honor American Revolutionary War Patriots buried in Missouri. Each year MSSDAR may add up to five names to these plaques to memorialize their service in achieving American independence.
